Senior Embedded SW Engineer

GSI Technology, a NASDAQ company that develops APU (Associative Processor Unit), Compute-In-Memory processors, is looking for a Senior Embedded SW Engineer.

Responsibilities and job description:

The individual will design, develop and debug mainly in C code for embedded systems in SW Infrastructure Team for GSI next generation Associative Processor. This includes development in Embedded Linux environment (BuildRoot/Linux/Uboot) and development for Bare Metal cores with/without RTOS including writing HW drivers for bare metal.

To be successful, you will need to obtain a deep understanding of:

Requirements:

B.Sc in CS or EE or relevant degree. (M.Sc is advantage).
7+ years of experience in embedded programing.
7+ years of experience in Linux embedded.
7+ years of experience in C/C++ programming.
Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

What we expect to see (requirements)

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and Management/ B.Sc. in CS / EE
5+ years of experience in managing technological projects, with a preference for security and military projects.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
Experience working with AI technology- An advantage.

Software Engineerfor Embedded AI

GSI is a Semiconductors company that develops a compute-in-memory associative processor (APU).

This is an opportunity to take a leading role in the development of an optimized AI Library for the APU.

What you will be doing (your role)

• Design and implement AI Software and optimize it to run on the APU at the highest possible performance.

• Implement and optimize various tensor functions (like DNN, MatMul, Conv)

• Maintain the AI library.

• Collaborate with the AI Compiler group and the Embedded SW group.

To be successful, you will need to obtain a deep understanding of:

Requirements:

B.Sc in CS or EE (M.Sc, Ph.D advantage) from a leading university.
5+ years of experience as full-time embedded SW development (C++)
Experience in one or more similar or closely related disciplines: RT-Embedded, CUDA, DSP, Computer Vision.
Experience with performance / memory constraint programming.
Experience working in Linux environments.
Proactive, can-do attitude and self-management skills.
Excellent verbal communication skills, problem solving skills and attention to details.
Highly motivated, committed, and innovative individual.
