Cloud BackendTeam Lead

Searchium.ai , a SAAS platform owned by GSI Technology. We are creating a proprietary hardware-powered vector database serving as the essential foundation for search engines in large-scale AI and ML applications.

As a Team lead , you will lead complex technological projects independently, working with other teams and groups. You will have full responsibility for developing new features end-to-end in an Agile environment, including a cloud SaaS vector database architecture (Tech stack: Python, Java Spring, AWS, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Redis, Cassandra, Kafka, Linux, Docker, Git and more).

In this position, you will:

Be responsible for the design of software according to agreed standards and requirements.
Lead and groom the backend teams backlog, be active in improving the systems, and making them more robust, scalable, cost-effective and speed-effective.
Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources.
Foster teamwork, mentor & review the quality of the code and process.

What are the skills a good Cloud Backend Team Lead need to have?

5+ years of experience with Python (C++, Java Spring - big advantage)
2 years of proven experience as a Team/Tech lead .
Experience working with cloud such as AWS/Azure/GCP.
Proven experience bringing a software solution from an early development stage to production.
Experience breaking down product requirements to an execution plan and team tasks.
Experience with database design and efficient data management (Security, Privacy, Stability, Scalability).
Experience with Docker, Linux, Git, REST.

It Would Be Nice If You Also Had

Experience with backend monitoring systems.
Full stack experience (server side oriented).
Passionate about design and coding, new technologies, and the development of high-quality software.
Great interpersonal skills.
Business Oriented – able to “see the big picture” and think about business rules as well as lines of code.
Great English skills.

About us

GSI is a Semiconductors company that develops the Gemini processor, a compute-in-memory associative processor (APU). AI SW stack is critical for the success and adoption of Gemini.

This is an opportunity to take a leading role in the development of an optimized AI Library for the APU.

In this position you will:

Design and implement AI Software and optimize it to run on the APU at the highest possible performance.
Implement and optimize various tensor functions (like DNN, MatMul, Conv).
Maintain the AI library.
Collaborate with the AI Compiler group and the Embedded SW group.

To be successful, you will need to obtain a deep understanding of:

A successful and cutting edge global Hi-Tech company in Tel Aviv, is looking for an experienced Linux System Engineer that will be responsible of designing, installing, and supporting the entire system – Software, Hardware and Networks including Help Desk services (20%)

Core skills:

Knowing security protocols, IT systems, networking infrastructures and database systems
Working with inter-disciplinary teams to craft IT solutions
Communicating complex information to a non-technological audience
Troubleshooting technology problems
Responsible for company cyber security certifications
Market comparison and purchasing of required HW and SW components

Requirements:

Responsible for entire Israel IT Infra Structure: Switches, Routers, Wi-Fi, LAN, WAN, VPN’s, Enterprise Security solution (Firewalls, Antivirus, etc.) , DNS, DHCP, Storage, Backup, ….
5+ years of experience with Linux Platforms
Manage company IT platforms for Devops (Jenkins, Bitbucket, AWS), Source control (Bitbucket) and Time Attendance
Responsible for all IL Peripherals, Computers and Servers HW and SW (Buy, Support, Install and Fix) running Linux and Window
Responsible for cloud configuration and management (AWS)
Responsible for Help desk issues.
Excellent serviceability, interpersonal and communication skills in Hebrew and English

Advanced skills:

Program certifications such as, VMWare, AWS, Docker, Microsoft, SQL, Oracl
Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Powershell or similar
Experience with VMware solutions, deployment and configuration
Experience with Kuberentes, deployment and configuration
Monitoring solutions (Zabbix, Grafana or similar)

Senior Embedded SW Engineer

GSI Technology, a NASDAQ company that develops APU (Associative Processor Unit), Compute-In-Memory processors, is looking for a Senior Embedded SW Engineer.

Responsibilities and job description:

The individual will design, develop and debug mainly in C code for embedded systems in SW Infrastructure Team for GSI next generation Associative Processor. This includes development in Embedded Linux environment (BuildRoot/Linux/Uboot) and development for Bare Metal cores with/without RTOS including writing HW drivers for bare metal.

To be successful, you will need to obtain a deep understanding of:

7+ years of experience in embedded programing.
7+ years of experience in Linux embedded.
